Scott Clark is a Singer-Songwriter, Artist, and Music Teacher. He was born in New York City and moved to Newburgh, New York in 1980. Music has become the primary focus of his life after studying Music Composition & Theory at SUNY New Paltz. He performs as a singer-songwriter and in the trio Something Fell… in New York and New Jersey. Last year Scott performed with Rob Johnson as part of Something Fell… at the New Paltz COTA.
His interest in painting began in the fall of 2010 using techniques with palette knives. The paintings are full of texture with the layering of various colors. He is self taught and is constantly experimenting with techniques found in books or from discussions with friends. The first exhibition of his paintings was at New Paltz COTA in the fall of 2011.
Scott has lived in Boonton, New Jersey for the past 12 years. He has been teaching music K-6 in Orange, New Jersey for the past 10 years.
